There are lots of not so great things about Halloween, I know, however I do think that it is the best way to get out and get to know the people that you live by, especially when you are new on the street. What better excuse to just knock on someone’s door and say Hi!? Ok, so we probably should have just done that anyway, maybe with a plate of cookies, but it is super awkward and Halloween makes it so easy.
Labor Day means that summer is pretty much over, but with the weather still solidly in the 30s (or 90s!) it really doesn’t feel like it. It turns out that Labor Day is the perfect day to explore the city because it was so quiet… well, for NYC.

I am tempted to say stop growing up so fast but I wont because of how much I love watching you grow and getting to know you better. How is it that you just keep getting better and better?
J and I just celebrated our FIFTH wedding anniversary. FIVE YEARS!? I honestly cannot believe how quickly that has gone by. But I guess that moving four times, having two babies and throwing in an international move is one way to pass the time.
